Staff News
Our staff continue with their SVQs, Mary Ledingham their assessor, is pleased with their progress. Congratulations to Nikita Cowan for attaining her SVQ Level 2! Our new cook, Rona, has settled in well and along with Chrissie is producing enticing meals and some wonderful home baking, much to the delight of the residents.
Garden News
The lawns have been fertilised and the flowers are in full bloom. The flower boxes on the front wall are looking splendid and being tended to by our very own residents.
News Around
Sadly, our series of concerts from Music in Hospitals with John Davidson have now come to an end. His concerts were enjoyed by all! Our next play day on Care Sound Radio is Tuesday, 8th July. We have a list of requests that have been submitted. The program will be played in the Lounge from 2pm to 3pm.
Cooks Meetings
Our weekly Cook’s Meeting on a Friday morning continues with Rona in the chair. Everyone is welcome to attend!

Happy Birthday to Mrs Pat Scott on the 3rd July! We welcome
Mrs Pat Graham from Auchterarder, Mrs Averil Fifer from Edinburgh, Mr Brian Hughes from Comrie, Mrs Diane Wood from Stanley and Mr Allan MacDonald from Crieff. Who have all decided to join our community.
We also welcomed back Mr Piet Westrick, and for the first time, Mr Gordon Wilson for periods of Respite Care.
Craft Club
Linda our activity coordinator has been busy with Activities, Crafts, Gardening and Scrabble on Tuesdays and Thursdays with Chair Exercises, Cook’s Meeting and a Quiz on Fridays.
